The element of suspicion in a woman and its impact and the psychiatrist point view of psychogenic amnesia patient is the narration in ‘Arakshaka’ attempted with many flash cuts to bring out a good psycho drama. I am not in the hangover of ‘Aptha Mithra’ or ‘Aptha Rakshaka’, like how the media was invited after one week of ‘
Aptha Rakshaka’ we are here today but not because the film has crashed says P Vasu answering several questions from the media single handedly till Upendra, Gurukiran and producer Krishna Prajwal came to the spot rather late.

I wanted a director cum actor to handle this film. That is Upendra according to me. He is able to understand my thoughts and screenplay techniques. I have seen his ‘A’ and ‘Raktha Kanneeru’. I brought the subject straight to him rather than going to others. I intended to make only in Kannada not in any language. This is where the actual feedback comes for me for any director. 70 percent of the people have accepted. The confusion point is raised. It is the second time you see you travel with the character precisely informs P Vasu.

I held discussion with psychiatrist doctor Rangarajan. After the film is released I have several emails, SMS messages, phone calls to my landline. Some of them want to hear my voice. ‘Arakshaka’ has given me new strength. I have not tried to just convince me only. It will be cheating. This is confusing and convincing at the end. I had other form of straight narration of ‘Arakshaka’ but it is a normal way of presentation. His blood is green…is given for catchy statement.

Super star Upendra has ascertained from his real observers of his film that there is only confusion but the overall film is impressive. According to distributor Basha of Bahar Films the film ‘Arakshaka’ in eight days collected Rs.3.42 crores in which producer share is Rs.2.5 crores.
